Hon’ble Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Shri Kiren Rijiju, laid the foundation stone for the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) at the Delhi Legislative Assembly on 14th June 2025. The event was graced by Hon’ble Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta and Speaker Shri Vijender Gupta. This initiative aims to make the Delhi Assembly paperless, thereby enhancing transparency, improving efficiency, and promoting the vision of Digital India.

Union MoS Dr. L. Murugan inaugurated the event for the Puducherry Assembly on 09 June 2025, graced by Hon’ble Lt. Governor Shri K. Kailashnathan, Chief Minister Shri N. Rangasamy, Speaker Shri R. Selvam, Secretary MoPA Shri Umang Narula, Additional Secretary Dr. Satya Prakash, and MLAs of Puducherry.

Shri Umang Narula, Secretary, MoPA, graced the inauguration of #NeVA on 09 June 2025 at the Puducherry Legislative Assembly and reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to digital legislative reforms while addressing the dignitaries. Dr. Satya Prakash, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and Mission Leader of NeVA, delivered an insightful presentation on the vision, mission, and benefits of NeVA for all stakeholders.

Hon’ble Speaker Sh. Vijender Gupta, along with senior officials, marked this historic moment as Delhi became the 28th House to implement the NeVA. The MoU was signed under the Delhi Government’s 100-day agenda in the presence of Hon’ble Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Sh. Kiren Rijiju and MoPA Secretary Sh. Umang Narula & Additional Secretary Dr. Satya Prakash.

NeVA was inaugurated in Uttarakhand on 18th February 2025 at the Legislative Assembly in Dehradun by Hon’ble Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Hon’ble Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan. The launch coincided with the budget session, which began with Hon’ble Governor Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Gurmit Singh’s Budget Address, emphasizing transparency and digital governance.

NeVA was inaugurated in Odisha on 12th February 2025 by Hon’ble CM Shri Mohan Charan Majhi and Hon’ble Speaker Smt. Surama Padhi. Shri Umang Narula, Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, highlighted NeVA’s role in modernizing legislative processes. This initiative supports the Digital India mission, enhancing transparency, efficiency, and accessibility in governance.

NeVA was inaugurated in Rajasthan on 3rd February 2025 by Hon’ble Chief Minister Sh. Bhajanlal Sharma at the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly in Jaipur. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Hon’ble Speaker Sh. Vasudev Devnani, Leader of Opposition Sh. Tikaram Julie, and Rajya Sabha MP Sh. Madan Rathore, along with other distinguished guests.
